I know how you feel. I am 24 and married with kids and my mom never has understood what I went through. I tried explaining to her and all she told me was that everyone gets cramps with thier periods and blah blah blah....she just did not understand how bad it really was, when i told her I was having a hyst all she asked was well couldn't you just wait and see what happens i suffered with it for to many years and with each pregnancie it got worse with me. So sweetie I know where you are coming from...hopefully with time and more info for her she will come to understand where you are coming from. Good luck....
