Hi Wanda,

Thanks for the advice on the Depo-Lupron. I had decided to have a second laparascopy done instead of the injections. Even though the surgery did not help with any of my pelvic pain, and plus I have such a severe case that it was impossible to get it all. I do not regret my decission one bit. I know there are plenty of different medications I can try to supress the endo, and most of all help with my severe pain. The Depo-Lupron would be my very last resort. So far I have not had the chance to call my Dr. for an alternative to the Naproxen Iam currently on which is not helping. If you know of any medications that will help with the cramping & pelvic pains and to supress endo please let me know. It was nice chatting with you T.T.F.N. TA-TA-FOR-NOW!

As always, everyones body reacts diffrently to any medication. With Lupron, the mood swings are there. I know, I had them along with the hot flashes. but my Gyn sugggested that I take a little bit of estrogen with it. Lupron did wonders for my pain. I am thinking about going back on it. One side effect for me was the loss of appetite and weight. Which after being on BCp's since I was 15 for painful periods.....it was a god send. Although you may not experience that side effect. My suggestion and nothing more is try a one month shot like my gyn did for me and see how you do. Or ask if there is something you may be able to take that doesn't have the side effects that Lupron has.....

Hugs Wanda

No way is it worth it to me. I don't know how it would do you it is different for everyone else. But if I had to do it over agian I would NOT do it. I only took five shots and had to quit. The worst to me was the hot flashes. They were terrible! But I think that my family and my b/f would say it is the mood swings. LOL! My b/f and I about broke up many times. So I wouldn't advice lupron to anyone. And it didn't help me at all. In fact I have gotten worse. I went throught all of that and it didn't even help.

I hope that I was of some help,

Miranda
