Need Some Advice or Information Please

Hello angels. I have been on the Depo-Provera shots once a month for the past 6 months. I spoke to my doctor today so we could decide what to do next with the endo and he told me that he wanted me to continue with the shot. I'm thinking that I read somewhere that a woman should not be on this treatment for more than 6 months at a time. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this or What risks I will be taking if I continue with the shot. Thanks for you time and info. Take Care and God Bless, Amanda
