Irregular Periods

I started having irregular periods in 1998. In the beginning my cycle would come every two weeks. After 3 months, I saw a practicioner at Kaiser, and she prescriped Ortho-Novum. I continued on the pill for about 1 year. When my periods resumed they were normal for about a year. Then the irregular bleeding started again. My cycles would still be 2 weeks apart, but the bleeding would last for 3 to 4 weeks, with the first two weeks requiring a change in super plus tampon every 4 hours. I didn't see a gyn for a year, because I had a terrifying dream that I was on the surgical table for a hysterectomy, and I jumped up and ran through the hospital begging people to help me. I finally saw a doctor, was discovered to have a 19 crit, 5 hemoglobin, and was immediately put on lupron. I just received my 3rd and final injection, and have been prescribed for desogen. I have not been given a diagnosis. Cancer biopsy was negative, I have no pain during menstrual cycles or at any other time of the month. All they said is that this is probably an ovulation problem. Has anyone else out there had this problem?? If so, what was your diagnosis?? I have a 10 year old daughter, and would like to have two more children, in a few years, and I wondering if I should freeze some eggs now, should I not have any in the future?
