Myths"- This is my story and it does include surgery. I have had two "cleanings" and while it does help for 6-12 months, endo is a persistant thing that always returns. Surgery, drugs, pregnancy- it's all the same in the end. Postponing the disease. I am not trying to discourage you from having the surgery, like I said, it does help for a while... just don't expect it to be like getting your appendix out and never having to deal with it again, because chances are you will. :-( Also, if you don't have children, and are in a situation to have them, try now. You never know with endo.-it robs us all by cutting our childbearing years short or by not allowing some to have children at all! Good Luck.
