I have a friend who was put on Depo-Provera and her body did not produce
enough estrogen to start with so she was so messed up. She should have
never been put on that shot. She had to undergo a 4 hour surgery and all
these skin graphs because the outside of her vagina was always so sore and
raw. It was because the depo shot took all the estrogen she did have out of
her body. Why don't doctors check our levels before prescribing these
things? I have been on Lupron and Danazol and I would never go on Depo
because I have heard nothing but horror stories about it.. Just a little
information for those out there considering it!
