Abnormal bleeding with Ortho-Cyclen

Hello, everyone- I'm 20 years old, and I've been taking Ortho-Cyclen for a little less than two years now. I had very irregular periods before going on the the pill, but since then the problem has been completely fixed. I've never missed a pill, and I've taken it on time every night, at least within an hour or two. My period is supposed to start in three days (Sunday), but I started spotting three days ago while still taking active pills, and it comes and goes, sometimes light and sometimes darker. I guess I'll find out soon enough, but what are the chances that I'm pregnant? (I never had any breakthrough bleeding before). Also, for future reference: Are there times of the month when it's more likely to get pregnant even while on the pill, and back-up should be used? Is it important that the pill is taken before sex or is better to take it after? Thanks for your help.... Worried in the Mid-west
