Next in thread: Kelly: "Chrissy" Reply: Kelly: "Chrissy" I need your advice. I have just had my third lap in 19 months. I also have had 6 months of LUpron, and I am still in pain. Since my husband and I have decided not to have any more children, and I have been dealing with this since '94, my doctor has suggested me to have a hysterectomy. I am not totally convinced that this will take my pain away, and make me feel better. He will be removing my left ovary (since this is the one that keeps adhering to my pelvic wall!) He will leave the right ovary to keep me from going into a "surgical" menopause. I trust my doctor, but I have heard stories that the Endo can come back even with out the uterus.
