I had the Depo-Vera injection in 99'.....not for endo but for birth control methods... I can say that I had no bad side effects. The only side effect I encountered was no period...I considered that wonderful though. Now, as for the Lupron-Depot.....i have heard the side effects are morbid. Some people were effected terrible from it..some have no bad adverse reactions. Now in Jan 12.01 I took the three month injection of lupron. So far I haven't had any side effects other then my body aching (which isn't that bad compared to all the other side effects) However...I am pregnant and have been taking other hormones to interact with the shot. So my side effects may be lessened due to this. When I was exploring my options about taking lupron I talked to this one lady....she took it and warned anyone not to take it.her hair feel out her teeth fell out...it was bad. But then I talked to another who said it worked for her for a short while...no side effects other then menopause. I would do some more studying before taking it.
