I could really use some help from anyone out there that has had a presacral neurectomy. I had one in November of 99 and lost all sexual functioning and feeling in the pubic area it is real numb. I have read of several women that has had similar problems and no one has contacted me back when I email them. I know this is a personal subject but I believe this is a complication of this surgery but no one wants to help. If this had happened to a man everyone you would get help. My new gyno says that nerve damage can result from this surgery and I have seen a neurologist that that states it appears to him I have nerve damage in the s2 through s4 sacral roots. This has been a nightmare for me its like I am not a woman anymore. I would love some help and if you can put the nerves back together. If there is a specialist in this field of presacral neurectomies please help and if you are a woman that this has happened to please please contact me. Don't stay silent this surgery needs to stop hurting women. thanks
