Char, please be encouraged by your improvement and the fact that your
doctor is sure he was able to remove all the endo. As you mentioned he
is an endo specialist and you can rest assured he was able to surgically
excise the endo - you will be okay.
Remember when you hear from us women on the board,many of us are the
ones who have not had the good results and experienced endo specialists
perform our tah.bso. as you have had to begin with or many of us have
had the dreaded adhesions come back to haunt us.
For just as many women who have not been helped by hyst, just as many
have been helped and no longer suffer from endo. I can put you in
contact with many women in which hyst has helped their symptoms.
Please don't overdue! I found that 6 weeks after the surgery, I was
finally feeling like my self again. Give yourself as much time as you
need to mend, and know we are here to support you - no matter what! I
don't know about you, but that is one of the main reasons I find such
help throught message boards such as this one. I am now 18 months past
my tah.bso and am settled in my hrt and new life.
Please be aware that you are too soon in your recovery to be able to
tell if you are truly feeling a difference from the endo symptoms or
not. So do not try to sway anyone in favor of hyst, before you know the
true outcome of your surgery.
