I'm just sorry that it gives you such a hard time when you are no longer having medicine in your system. I wish that I knew the answer to this question but I have none for you. I know all about family who isn't educated about endo and thinks that I did nothing and when I did that I never looked sick so that they thought it was ok for them to leave all the responsibility of caring for grandma on me and my mother (usually nites and weekends). It was rough.
