Hi Beth, I have no idea why that happens. I am very curious however. If you figure it out let me know.

As for the job thing. I just found out that they might be posting a job at work for a half-time position job that is an office job. I am certainly qualified for it but have some of the same reservations as you have expressed. I also don't know if I should do it because I really have my mind set on getting through school in two years. This would definitely delay that. I would be able to take a couple of classes but certainly no the same amount as I am now. It would essentially take twice as long. They haven't posted the job yet so I have some time to think about it. I really don't know if I could really do a job right now, in the office. The way my back is. I guess I have some new things to think about - just what I needed! UGH!

About your job offer. Do you think they would be understanding about your situation? It is a difficult decision to tell a employer, especially a potential employer, about having endo. I have been luck that I have had employers who understand and don't hustle me. Then again, I had the sick time banked so they couldn't really do anything anyways.

I really don't know what advise I can give you. I know that having a job and the money that comes with it is liberating but it needs to be weighed heavily against the reality that you face with endo. Please wait until your period is gone and your hormones are back in harmony before you make a final decision. I know that I try to defer all important decisions until I am over that time of the month - I can get so emotional and irrational so I just hibernate and try to keep the big issues for later.

I am really tired right now so I am signing off. Take care, hang in there. You are NOT alone!!!

Tanya
