A Q with a ventFrom: bethtony (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Jan 15 11:02:27 2001
Hi all I am in the middle of my period...I was wondering if anyone experiences this or may know why. When I take my meds it slows down if not stops the flow which in return stops the pain..when the meds wear off the flow starts. So I feel like I am just waiting for the inevitable...all that xmas sugar is making this one horrible...it hurts so bad.would you think that the meds stop the uterus from contracting therefore the blood is unable to shed? I do not work because off this.Last week when I was feeling good(going through the nesting thing) I was offered a job 30 hrs a week 9-5 mon-fri with good $.I was like oh this is great I should do it...These were my thoughts... $ of my own...when my uneducated about endo family(not that I haven't tried educating them) asks what I am doing I can say I am a productive human being and maybe they would love me more(logically I don't really care how they feel about me but deep down I do)....when we socialize I could have something to talk about and so on.Now my period is here and I feel......like my body is splitting in half......I am fighting the tears and trying to handle the pain.....now I know why I am not working...I do not half to phone in and explain myself and hope they understand......I do not half to say I will be in in 2 days and know for 5 days I will cry while getting ready for work..and then all the way to work...Well I will stop my story at this.I am soooo glad that I have this forum to say these things it has replaced my silent unheard tears...with a few words I write I know there are many many ears that know exactly what I am sayingIf anyone knows why to my Q please let me know it has been bugging me for a long time. LOL Beth
