Hi everyone, I am new to this forum. And I need your help. Half year ago, Doctor find a ‘fibroid’ outside of uterus measured 6.8 x 4.5 x 4.5 cm using those outside ultrasound technique. (You have to drink a lot of water). Three months later, another ultrasound (inside) showed it is growing to 8 x 5 and it is a hemorrhagic cyst or endometrioma. (since it is another type of ultrasound, the measurement may have difference) Last week another ultrasound(inside) shows it is growing to 8 x 8. My doctor suggested a lap to remove it or at least make sure what is it. She is not sure where the endo located, inside or outside the ovary. I am 29. Healthy. No children. No any symptoms at all. I am wondering if this lap is necessary regarding the size and growing speed of this cyst. The doctor also mentioned about the removal of one ovary if it looks bad. What is the side effect of removing one ovary? Thanks. May
