Re: pelvic and bowel problemsFrom: Andrea (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Jan 3 20:53:28 2001
Laura, I too have had all the same symptoms as you are explaining. I am 24 years old have had 3 laps and have adhesions also. I know exactly what you are experiencing, and I would not wish it upon anyone. I am seeing a new doctor in the end of January and I am demanding my bladder, bowel, back, and everything be tested, x-rayed, scanned or whatever, (another lap) to find out what I can do to stop the pain everywhere. Sometimes my back pain and kidney area pain is worse then my pelvic pain. I also have adhesions on the bowel so that does not help. I have pain with urination, bowel movements (when I can have them), pain with sex, (what is sex anymore anyway?), I am so tired all the time, and I am in pain every minute of the day. I have pain that goes from my back and radiates to the front and down my hip and thru to my vagina area. I am also so sore on the outside all the time that even if I felt good on the inside I still could not have sex. Thank God my husband is so understanding. He is my entire support system for me. I know that every time I am on the pill it makes my outside sore and I get infections like every other week it seems. Anyway, sorry to sob to you all my problems, but you are not alone and I will let you know what I find at the doctor. I hope I see a urologist too soon. I hope something happens this will be doctor number 10 for me... In 2 years....... I hope you feel better. If you ever want to talk feel free to e-mail me. LOL Andrea andrea@triver.com
