Dysplasia

Question: When I was pregnant with my 3rd child 3 years ago, after the pap-smear, the nurse told me either I had a STD or Dysplasia! They tested my husband for an STD, he was negative. They sent me to a clinic to LOOK at my cervic, and then decided they wanted a tissue sample, I ademently turned them down after finding out side effects. (bleeding for 7-10 days, slight chance of loosing the baby) They said not to worry that after the baby was born I would be going back for my 6 week check up and they would have more answers then. Now, speaking as a WOMAN....if you have ever had a PAP-Smear, you know what it feels like! When I went back for my 6 week check up I do not believe they swabbed the cervic. It is a feeling that moves you, if you know what I mean! So, here is the question how can results of a pap-smear come back either a STD or Dyspasia? They rule out one, and that leaves you with the other, and then he just goes away! I just recently found out that 2 persons in my family have been diagnosed with cancer. My one aunt has it in her lymph nodes and is in treatment now, the other has been diagnosed with cancer all over. They discovered it in her bones, breasts, and soft tissue. Besides this my grandmother and her sister have also died of cancer related complications. Any information to any of the questions placed here today would be greatly appreciated!
