Re: Kelly and everyoneFrom: bethtony (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Dec 30 12:33:36 2000
Thank you Kelly. When I get blue like I did and then look at the bigger pic this is what I see.At the end of our lives it will not be the amount of $ we have made or the miles we have covered that others or us will see.It will be the type of people we were, how we treated others, were we kind? was our love for life or others given without limitations?Did we sit in judgment of others? When someone cries out for help do we see it (as trivial as it may seem)?how do we respond? Are we able to stop and smell the flowers? so to speak. So it is the little things that matter not the careers, the house,or all the possessions we may accumulate.I just wish society in general would slow down and see this. There is a poem i memorized when i was young that always comes back to me.I hope i have memorized it correctly but here it goes. The rain to the wind said "you push and I"ll pelt" So together the flower bed they did smote. "Oh how I know how the flowers felt" Robert Frost But you see the sun will come out and those seemingly delicate flowers are strong and will rise up.Nothing is stronger than the human spirit.LOL and (hug) to all of my angel friends.Beth
