Hi Sue,

I talked to my husband and he said that he didn't really have any specific advice on how to deal with your situation, he just suggested reviewing your list before you go into the doc's office next time to get it fresh in your mind so you don't have to take it out in the office. Or, it might be wise to mention your list to the doc right at the beginning saying something like, "I hope you don't mind, but there are a lot of questions I have to ask you so I had to write them down". That may make it less of an issue if they think it is just some questions. However, there are docs out there who do not treat female patients the way your doc treated you so if you have the luxury of finding another doc, that might be best. If you don't, don't be too discouraged maybe your next visit with this doc will be better. You may have caught them on a bad day or something (I hope).

Take care and all the best for the New Year. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
