HI, I am a 31 yr old women with two children. I never had Group B strep while pregnant. I have now had it twice. My youngest is 4. In May, I was on antibiotics for group b strep and now I am on them again. My Dr. really hasn't told me anything. Is this serious, should I have test done to see if their is another cause. I have read several things that say it is uncommon for non-pregnant women to get this so why have I had it twice. Also, this last time, my Dr. gave me a refill on my antibiotic, so, does that mean I will get it again?
