HELP! I have several questions. I am a 31 yr old mother of 2 who never had Group B strep while I was pregnant. My youngest is now 4 and I have had it twice. In may I was put on antibiotics for it and again just today my test results came back Group B strep again. I am on antibiotics again and was even given a refill on the antibiotic. Is this common or serious. Should I be concerned. What causes it and can I do anything to prevent it? I read stuff that makes it sound serious but my doctor has acted like it is nothing. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Sandy
