We thinking about trying to have a baby...Oh my!!!From: Jessica (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Dec 28 17:46:36 2000
Where do I begin? I'm also 37, never been pregnant, have been married for 11 going on 12 years in February, and over the Christmas holiday my husband asked me to consider having a baby. When we married we decided that children wasn't going to be a part of this relationship. I am still quite shocked and well excited too! I have Endometriosis and I have had one Lap and an operation to remove several fibriod tumors. Last June I tried Depo Provera and had terrible mood swings and now I'm on birth control pills. Okay now that I have typed out my life story here's my question. Where do I begin? Should I see my doctor about our plans of having a baby. I have a feeling I'm going to need help in getting pregnant, during our 11 years together we didn't concern ourselves with always using birth control. No false alarms or fears of unplanned pregnancy during those years. Sorry to be such a total dummy about all this but I don't have any friends my own age that are pregnant. Most of the ladies I know are grandparents and they just laugh and tell me I must be insane. Any advice would be helpful. Jessi
