Re: A holiday storyFrom: NSMITCH (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Dec 21 19:52:56 2000
Made me cry..thanks for the beautiful story Beth. You are right that I have not been around and I apologize to everyone for letting you all down and not being as available, etc. Yes Beth, much is happening here with my health, my father, the holidays, etc. So I am having to do things differently than my heart would prefer. I have not forgotten any of you and I do hope you'll understand without me going into a long_______ story. I will know more next week or thereafter about my health so I will update you all on that. And Whoohoo I'll hit 40 on Sunday!! Gonna count this one with a lot of major life milestones...Time for reflection, rest and wrapping... Peace, joy, angels watching o'er you and many, many hugs filled with painless angel dust...It works, really it will...just close your eyes and let it fall over you. Now breathe in that Holiday magic and let your heart and soul do the rest...If you believe, anything is possible. Sally
>----- Original Message ----- Hi everyone!! First i have good news...My period is here!!!!! ..Good news you say?? Beth has lost !! It is good news because we are flying on sat to spend the holidays with the inlaws. And I know that only you ladies truly understand the implications of that!!! Now I will be safe to take claritin for my ears. The holidays are always a time of reflection for me and this story always puts a zing in my heart and i thought i would share it with you all. In the winter of 95 i had angioplasty they were unable to go through my groin and had to go through my right arm.So I was back home at the acerage and in rough shape. I always like having my tree up early. It was the 20 th and my husband and male roomate had not gotten the tree like i had been asking for. I have always been a stuborn person. So i was mad and thought i will go chop down my own tree. So i bundled up not wanting to admit the odds were stacked up against me.With they way my arm was if i was able to even chop a tree i could of done serios damage. And the forrest around our house were trees that were 50 ft high. But in my stuborness i was unable or willing to except this. So off to the forrest i went...I wanted a tree. Deep in the forest i trugded. To my amazment i came apon a not so perfect tree just gently lying there.I will not forget the look on my roomates face when i came out of the forrest pulling that tree!! Or the look on my hubbies face when he got home and i said i chopped down the tree myself. I kept that secret for a few days to make them stew. How did that tree get there?? Well a gust of wind had knocked the top down.I like to believe that a divine force said "Beth you want a tree here is a tree" That not so perfect xmas tree remains in my heart and i wanted to share it with all of you.Beth
