Re: Burning pain in lower to mid back, have endo, (((Nancy)))From: Marlene (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Dec 15 09:41:06 2000
Hi Nancy: Sorry to hear that you are in so much pain with your endo. I have had a "complete hysterectomy" uterus and ovaries removed. With what your Doc recommended about 6 months with no hormones is a precautionary measure so if there is any endo remaining after your surgery, it will die off. As far as feeling "out there" with no hormones....it didn't happen to me....although when I wasn't taking any HRT I contended with menopause symptoms, hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness and I did feel depressed. I wish you well in your surgery and hope that it alleviates all your pain.... Warm hugsss Marlene
