Burning pain in lower to mid back, have endo,From: Nancy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Dec 14 20:34:41 2000
I am having a hysterectomy the 28th, Dec. I had lap & have endo pretty bad, had an adhesion that was cut & in turn cut one of my many pains. Am on Lupron shot currently, has helped but only after 4 shots. I still have this terrible burning pain in my back. Laying on back is a problem it makes me very hot, I start burning up. Sitting doesn't work for long eather. I have to sleep on my stomach for any relief. I was told my dr. puts you on hormones right away after surgery but when I saw him the other day he said he would not put me on any hormones for a good 6 mos or more due to endo. This is making me nervous. Am I going to go crazy since i am having a total hyst.? Has anyone ever been down this road? or know something about it? I would think I will need some kind of hormones. One day after my lap. I got real bad pain, so took 2 premarin the smallest amt. available & with in 1½ hrs. pain subsided. How can this be if hormones make endo worse? Please write back if you can enlighten me on any info about hysterectomy, endo, etc. Thanks & Best Wishes to all fellow sufferers
