It just isn't enjoyable to me because I know how much pain I will be in later. Also as far as trying different ways - I hurt with orgasms so it seems like a no win situation. I still try and enjoy it and most times I do but later the pain is there. I have started taking pain medication prior to sex (if I know its going to occur) and that does help with the pain during. My boyfriend is wonderful, a saint and the most understanding person I could ever ask for. I wish more men were like him - I hear horror stories from a friend of mine. Her husband wants sex at least 3 times a week - even when she is hurting the most. UGH! Anyway I think we need to try this chat thing soon. This is a huge part of endo.
