I GOT MY PERIOD WHEN I WAS 11 YRS OLD. I KNEW FROM THE START THAT YOU WERENT SUPPOSED TO BE IN THAT MUCH PAIN. EVERY MONTH I WAS IN AND OUT OF EMERGENCY ROOMS.I LIVED ON VICODIN AND ULTRAMS. I WAS A BASKET CASE. FINALLY A WEEK BEFORE MY 18TH BIRTHDAY THEY DECIDED TO DO A SONOGRAM. THEY COULDNT EVEN SEE MY OVARIES BECAUSE THEY WERE SO MASSED UP.I WENT IN FOR EMERGENCY SURGERY AND THEY LASERED EVERYTHING OUT BY A LAPROTOMY.2 YEARS LATER THE SAME THING. FINALLY 6 WEEKS AGO THEY DECIDED TO TAKE THE LEFT SIDE OUT.SO I IMAGINE WITH MY HISTORY ITS JUST A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE IM IN UTTER PAIN WITH MY RIGHTSIDE? WILL THIS EVER END? AMY

Why do you think that is? About the docs? Do you think they don't think it's endo because they can't cure it? I went from Dr. to Dr. to Dr. before anyone even mentioned endo. And even then because of my age they didn't think that is what is was, but wanted to go in and look. And WHAT DO YOU KNOW. I was covered with it. It had adhered my uterus to my stomach wall etc..... Why are doc's so quick to rule it out? I agree w/ you on that one.
