Angie, et al I know you addressed this to Kristy but I haven't seen her response so I hope you don't mind. The "bowel problem" she referred to is Irritable Bowel Syndrome. It is very common in women and especially women with endo. A gastroenterologist can diagnose this. Additionally, for those with migraines, remember that water retention which is common but even more so with some endo and IBS sufferers add to pressure on the spinal column and may be the root of the migraines. Trying a mild diuretic may help. Although I have migraines secondary to an accident and nerve damage I have found diuretics helpful when I am menstruating and also when on GnRH analogs, etc. like the Zoladex now. It's worth a discussion with your docs possibly and you may not need the migraine meds that carry more side-effects. (Be sure to go on a kidney-sparing diuretic; one that has the least loss of potassium) Also, some people have bowel problems such as chronic hemorrhoids and tearing/fissures. This may be due to tight sphincter muscles. I thought this was nuts until I was in severe agony and was told I needed a sphincterotomy. I am not one to advocate surgery at all, but ladies if this is possibly you then see a GI or Colo-rectal specialist. It may be a gift you give yourself. It certainly was for me. No more fissures. I still have IBS, but a lot less pain and that's what we all want, right? Sally
>----- Original Message ----- Hello, Kristy welcome to the group. My name is Angie and I am from Boston, Ma. I am 26 y.o with 1 child 7 1/2 months and I suffer from endo, I had one lap and I may need another. The doctor keeps trying different meds on me and nothing is working. She just put me on Celebrex yesterday. Have you ever tried that? What bowel problem are you talking about, if you dont mind me asking. I have been so constipated and then some days I have diarrhea and hemmoroids. It really is a battle, you just go day by day and pray that the next day will be better then your bad day. angie
