Welcome to the forum Kristy, I am sort of going through the same thing. I just went to my Dr. 3 weeks ago, and told him that I am tired of surgeries, and will not do Lupron again. Of course he said he wanted to do another surgery. But finally agreed with me to try for 2 months to control it with pain meds. I have always done what the Dr.'s said. Until I found this forum and the women's advice helped me get the strength to stand my ground. I just told him I was not ready to do another surg. And wanted pain medicine to control it for a while. I know this is not a cure by any means, but it is letting me take some time off. (so to speak) He gave me Naprosyn, which didn't help, then Vicoden. That seems to help the pain, but you have to be careful with it, because it is a narcotic. Unfortunately there isn't really anything but Lap's and Lupron type medicine for us right now. Maybe one day that will change. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Pain Free wishes..... Emily
