surgery was successful so far.....lolFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netTue Oct 24 11:43:27 2000
Hi all, I made it thru the surgery. Had all my staples removed yesterday but I am still in really bad pain. Just got to give it some time I guess. They were able to remove all the endo (reg and clear) but, I lost my left ovary and fallopian tube. Dr. said it was crushed, twisted and totally disconnected and glued to the side. He said it looks like the old dr "accidnetally cut it". OK, first question, can losing one ovary cause temporary menopause like symptoms? Has anyone heard of hystcom? the dr said he applied this to prevent scar tissue and adhesions....it supposed to prevent the stuff from being able to stick to anything. Also, has anyone heard of a corneal pregnancy? I was told that b/c of the ovary, if I had become preg, it would have been a tubule or corneal pregnancy. And, if it were the corneal, I would have hemorrhaged to death before they could have discovered what was wrong. And, I keep shaking whenever the pain gets really bad. My entire body shakes. I hope everyone is feeling well today. I am heading back to bed now...lol Lori
