Fw: back pain/bowelFrom: Andrea (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Oct 19 21:02:07 2000
>----- Original Message ----- From: Andrea Vazzano To: anonymous@obgyn.net Sent: Thursday, October 19, 2000 9:06 PM Subject: back pain/bowel Hello ladies! I have had one lap, Lupron for 6 months, another lap, continuous bcp, then they did not work, danazol for 6 months, another lap due to bowel adhesions, and now I am on continuous BCP. They have been working. My problem still is that I have the worst constipation and back pain. I have had a colonoscopy, small bowel x-ray, urine tests, and blood tests. Nothing they can see. I am worried that my kidney is involved because my back pain is so severe and it is very sore. I do not have a very severe case of endo, it is my adhesions I think that cause all this. Any way, that is a brief story, you may have seen this or a similar post like this before. I am 23 years old, been thru 9 doctors, and I no matter how many laxatives I take I still am having problems. I have not had a normal bowel movement without the natural herbs I take. In fact I have not had a normal bowel movement in about a year. Even when I do take them I am in so much pain while I am going to the bathroom that I start sweating and the pain is really bad. If I do not go I blow up like a balloon and the pressure is terrible. I also have been urinating more frequent then usual, and my side hurts when I have to go. I was checked for a urinary and kidney infection 2 weeks ago by urine tests at a walk in clinic. My endo specialist is 3 hours away, and I am currently looking for a new doctor. My question is what kind of doctor do I see for this? I have seen a gastro doctor already and an adhesion surgeon who did nothing for me. Do I need to see an urologist, and endocrinologist or what? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I just need a place to start. Every doctor blames it on the endo, which I have under control right now. My pain is from the bowels and back pain. Then I was thinking that is it possible to have endo or something on my nerves in my back or something? I still think it is the adhesions, personally, but no doctor around here seems to think that! I know my body. I know the difference in endo pain, cramp pain, or adhesion pain. Should I see another bowel doctor? I appreciate any suggestions? I also had blood again a few weeks ago in my stool. I get it like once every 6 months or so. Thanks, Andrea V avazzano@g2a.net
