I know how you feel. I was also diagnosed at 17. I was told then that I would never have children on my own. I am now 22 and just got married 2 months ago. I am seeing a new gyn. My new doc. told me that in the time since I was diagnosed some positive progress has been made. My doc. told me just a few weeks ago that whenever I am ready to have kids to let him know. Please do not worry about children yet. I know they are important but, right know you have to concentrate on you. Best wishes to you!!! Hang in there.
