Hello Ladies, I feel so much better that there is so much support out there for endometriosis, thank you ladies for that. I use to feel like I was all alone with this disease, but Im not. Last year I was diagnosed with Endo, so they did the Laparoscopy. I was still experienceing alot of pain after the surgery. The doctor said maybe they missed some, which happens alot, so he put me on some meds like Lupron. Lupron was the worst my heart was beating so fast I thought I was experienceing a heart attack at the age of 24, along with hot flashes, and anxiety (which I still have anyway). The good news was 2 months later I found out I was pregnant!!! We were so exstatic!!!! Our little girl was born on March 14Th. I thought I would never be able to have kids, because I figure the longer you let it go the worst it gets. I will never understand why they use alternative meds to avoid surger, the meds do not get rid of the disease it will just make it less painful. My endo is back after having my beautiful daughter, I have a new doctor. She does not want to do the surgery because of the chances of perferating the uterus at a young age (I dont feel young, but anyway) I keep telling her to go ahead with the surgery, to remove everything. My doctor has been trying all different bcp's but nothing has changed. She also wanted to double me up on 2 orthocepts perday but I am so nervous of gaining weight. I just took the 30 pounds off from haveing my georgous healthy daughter, and I want to keep it that way until I conceive again in a couple of years ( I pray that we will be able to have 1 more child) I was wondering if you ladies could help me out a little. My doctor wants me to log down everytime I have pain, some days I have it about 3 times a day and somedays I dont. I dont have time to do a log, because I am a full time mom, I dont want to lie about having the pain more on some days, but I also dont want the log that I have to put together by guessing since I have the doctors coming up soon. I want the doctor to look at it and say "lets go ahead with the surger" not "oh, it look like you dont experience that much pain" I need the surgery ladies, I want to stop all meds, If you ladies had to do a log what would you put down for 1 week. Thank you so much. I have to put my daughter to bed now. I am surprised I got to type all this. hugs and kisses, angie
