Re: EndometreosisFrom: Joann (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Sep 28 12:17:08 2000
I was diagnosed with endometreosis at the age of 21 and I was administered Zoladex for a period of six months. Now after 5 years I am repeating the course of Zoladex as I have just found out that I have endometreosis again. Could you kindly answer some of questions please. -My bone density has decreased slightly following the first course, now I have repeated the test and found out that it has decreased further. I am taking calcium supplements and red clover supplements. What are the chances that my bone density will decrease furter? -Following Zoladex treatment what is the best precaution to take to prevent recurrence? (I know that the contraceptive pill may help but I smoke and suffer from migraines, is it advisable?) -Do you think that may fertility may be affected? Thankyou for your time. Waiting to hear from you soon. -
