Judy, Lupron has many side effects but like with any drug they vary with every person. I have taken Lupron twice and the second round was worse than the first It seemed to effect my short term memory. The pain DID let up but I would not personally take the drug again. Another thing to keep in mind is Lupron is not FDA aproved for the treatment of endo. With some people that is more of an issue than with others. Has your daughter-in-law tried less drastic meds yet? Such as bc or depoprovera? If she does go with lupron make sure that she takes a calcium supplement. Best wishes and good luck. Jomarie
