Re: Lupron((Judy))From: Belle (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Sep 28 07:01:06 2000
Judy, I believe your questions have already ben answered by Lila and some others. So I will just add my bit. Its all a matter of trial and error with endo and the treatments available. What works for one person my be terrible for another sufferer.Obviously the more options we have.. the better off we all are. For me Synarel is my choice over lupron because it can be stopped so quickly and it is delivered by a nasal spray twice a day, I found it helped my pain about 30 % which was very welcome at the time.Lupron comes in injection form and it lasts either for 1 month in your system or 3 months...If you have a bad reaction to the lupron then it is a difficult situation ...as you then have to wait the 1 month or 3 months wait until it is out of your system.Synarel can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks..We are all so different.Birth control pills are also used to treat endo and they are taken continuosly with no break..This can also be difficult to find the correct birth control pill that wont cause too many side effects..As I said its all a matter of trying and seeing. Good Luck with what ever you decide. Best Wishes, Belle.
