Hello Jomarie

My names is Helen. I have been on Zoladex, which I believe is similar to Lupron, in that it brings on man-made menopause, however, it was via and tablet injection into the stomach each month. The other treatment was a hormone called Duphaston (Dhufaston??) which I really didn't like, I was on that for 12 months and Zoladex for 6 (they wouldn't let me stay on it for any longer than that).

I was so glad not to have a period for 6 months, the side effects didn't really bother me!! Depression seems to be a part of Endometriosis with me anyway and the hot flushes were bearable and nothing compared to the cramps etc.

I have tried many other treatments, including acupuncture, natropathy etc, and believe that anything is worth a go!!

Give it a go, if you don't like it you can stop taking it, and as you said, it is a nasal spray so no horrible injections.

I wish you luck and would love to hear how it goes.

Best wishes Helen Day Perth Western Australia
