STILL endo!From: nancy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Sep 27 14:44:10 2000
Long, long history of endo - 15 yrs+. Had laser surgeries, Danocrine, Lupron, every BCP imaginable, finally a hysterectomy 6 yrs ago. Big surprise last 12-31-2000 a grapefruit size ruptured endometrioma caused a huge mess. Both ovaries were removed, and I though I's be trouble free. Here I am six 9 months later still telling my DR I feel bad, finally switch DRs and the new one (a wonderful woman) finds an ovary remnant with ANOTHER endometrioma. I was thrilled that I am not crazy (I thought that I was losing my mind) but I have so many adhesions that she wants to go throught the Lupron thing again and see if that works. Meanwhile I feel bad lots of the time and am getting more and more depressed (and I haven't even started the Lupron yet!). This never, ever ends. I'm 36 with who knows how many little bits of ovaries floating around just waiting to cause trouble. Anyone out there who can help?
