I've been on Triphasal 28 day birth control for ten years now. My periods in the past have been normal. Three days in duration and reasonably light flow. I've recently been experiencing at least two menstral periods a month. This is not spotting. It's consistent, very heavy in flow and lasts for three to four days. I've changed workplaces in the past six months and am along side a mother of two who has had her tubes tied and seems to be menstral at the same time as my irregular one. I've heard of women who cohort together, mensturate together. Could this be why and also why would she dominate the time of cycle? Why wouldn't her time of cycle change?
