Re: (Judy) Maybe I said something wrong?From: Lila (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Sep 11 07:05:38 2000
Judy, I didn't see your prior message, since I just got back from vacation. Endo does affect everyone differently. Like you, my pain isn't/wasn't during my period, but before. Usually from the time of ovulation until I got my period. And my periods were never heavy. Hope this helps -- Lila ----Original Message Follows---- From: anonymous@obgyn.net (Judy) Reply-To: anonymous@obgyn.net To: Multiple recipients of list ENDO <anonymous@obgyn.net> Subject: Maybe I said something wrong? Date: Sat, 9 Sep 2000 18:42:08 -0500 I asked a question a couple of days ago regarding if having painful periods is a necessary symptom for endo. I have terrible pain (10+) on my 19th 20 and 21 day of my cycle and again on my 26, 27, and 28th . But as soon as I get my period all pain disappears. My doctor said that is classic endo, but everyone in the chat room describes horrible pain during period and heavy bleeding. I have neither. Is there a lot of variation. I am trying to understand what I have. The doctor during my lap did and biopsy of suspicious tissue, but it came back negative. Although she said the endo might be very deep. Any thoughts? I have to decide whether to try depro lupron, but not without all the information I can gather. Thanks so much for the help
-- Judy
