With all due respect to physicians who don't want to alarm their patients, God forbid you should have a name for what's wrong with you! If that sounds bitter, I am a bit as I've been on the medical/diagnosis merry-go-round for a long time. Anyway, endo will not show up on a cat scan or an ultrasound, although a cyst might (& might be causing some of your ovarian pain). A laproscopy is usually needed to make an absolute determination.
