Karen - I'm hardly an authority on this, newly diagnosed myself, but endo can only be diagnosed through a laproscopy. It sounds like you may have it, and of course you won't get treatment until your doctor knows for sure. Remember this: it's not a death sentence, and many people recover quite nicely. It's just that it's something you always have to be careful about. You may always have some symptoms, but you're feeling especially bad now because you haven't had any treatment.
