No intervention is planned for the div. disease; doctor just said ("just"!) if there was a raging infection or anything serious they'd have to do a temporary colostomy!! Well, had to prop me up in the chair after that, but said that he really didn't expect to find that. I know after the surgery the first thing I'm going to do when I'm awake is reach down and make there there's only staples there!

Laparotomy was a little more painful than laparoscopy as the incision was about 3-1/2 inches long, so bending was uncomfortable. Feel ok now, but still careful; scar is sore and feels like something's missing inside - yep, adhesions! But nonetheless I feel the difference.
