Re: New to forum...my story...(warning, may be long! lol)From: anonymous@obgyn.netMon Jul 31 11:32:03 2000
Melanie, Try not to worry about the pregnant thing. I have been told that I only have a 50/50 chance of getting pregnant. I've known about the endo going on 3 years now. When I first found out I was very upset. Went through the normal why me, what did i ever do to deserve this. Made me more stressed out every time I thought about it. I am only 21, and still want to wait a few more years before having kids, I was told that if I wait to much longer that My chances get smaller. But I knkow deep in my heart that if I am really supposed to have a baby of my own that it will happen when it happens. Not much I can do about it but pray. I have also thought hard about adoption. Dont let the doctors scare you about that. I think they got everyone here, and many of the women have had beautiful babies, and I do believe one of us is pregnant. You could very well have endo, but the only true way to find out is by going in and looking. ultra sounds cant see all the little spots of endo. I'm glad you found a different doc who really heard what you were saying about the pain. so many doctors just tell us its in our heads. Keep your head up high, and try not to let it bother you to much. I know that is nearly impossible, But if you do have endo stress and worry make it flare up more. Welcome to the forum, I hope we can answer any questions you have. and you are comfortable here. I know I am. Love and Hugs, Kimi
