Laurie, You can talk to me anytime you want to wether it be a question or just to vent endo frustrations. I am sorry to hear that you are not doing well. I too am in the same boat in looking for a doctor. I have been with my endo doctor since dx which was five years ago. The reason I have to leave this great understanding doctor is because my insurance will no longer cover him. Insurance sucks!!! I can't tell you much about weight gain because I am unsure exactly what you are asking. I do know my fluctuates up and down all of the time. It is difficult to wear some of my clothes at different times because of this. Also honey, this may sound like more bad news but I know many cases of women who have had the hyst. and still have endo. Be sure to find out exactly where the endo is and just plain educate yourself before doing the surgery. Because after that you will probably go on hormones. I am not a doc but I hope this has helped. Good luck and pain free wishes. Kristi R.
