SURGERY OVER/ASTONISHING REPORT

From: Sandra (anonymous@obgyn.net)

I had the surgery and its finally over. Praise God no endo, but heres what happened. You wouldn't believe what they found, i still can't believe what they found.

So here goes: When I was 16 i had a ruptured Appendix, well from that surgery 20 years ago, I had scar tissue from the surgery, well apparently it has grown and grown and grown. It had wrapped around both ovaries squeezing them, wrapped around the uterus, moved the entire small intestine, and kinked and knotted the bowel. So this is why whenever i ate i was nauseau and bloated and couldn't go the bathroom.

He said once he burned the scar tissue the ovaries just popped back in place, perfect color, size, etc.

Praise and glory to God that my doctor was able to take care of it all. It took 1 1/2 hours to remove all the scar tissue.

It was funny because before I went in for surgery, I talked to my doctor and told him that where the incision was, I was having pain over there, could he check to see if i had any scar tissue, and if yes could he burn it, he said sure no problem. LOL Little did we know what was about to happen.

So know i am on my way to recovery. Also, my stomach has gone down considerably due to all the scar tissue.

He did say that in about 6 weeks he wants to put me on birth control, because when he did the d/c he found the lining of the uterus very thin, and he thought before it was really thick.

So know I guess I just wait for the results of the tests on the tissues.

Told you you wouldn't believe it.

Huggs and Prayers Sandra
