Thanks for responding Peggy. NO I have never heard of adhesion barriers before. I am surprised becuase my endo specialist is very good. Are adhesions that are cut away more likely to come back? Also, is the only way to see adhesions is thru a lap? You can not see them via ultrasound can you? What kind of doctor do you see for adhesions? Thanks, ANdrea

once again. They found adhesions on my bowel, actually a large one joining my left side and colon and cut that away. Is there a difference in actually lasering or removing an adhesion and just cutting it away? My gyno cut it away, and I am in fear that it is back again already. I have severe left sided pain again, back pain, and pain with bowel movements again. Besides the fact that I can hardly ever go despite all the laxatives that I am on. What do you think? I also can never finish going to the bathroom. I am afraid that I have rectal adhesions or something. My gyno and gastro said there is nothing more for the adhesions that they can do, so my other question is, should I see a colorectal surgeon? I appreciate any advice on this subject. After 8 doctors I am getting hopeless..... > >
