Re: Lupron (There are endo success stories)(Belle & Charmaine)From: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Jul 13 10:55:03 2000
Thank you both for your well wishes. It is because of the support I got from the women on this forum that I was able to get out of bed everyday & call my doctor for a new treatment. I'm hoping that this is more than just a short-term solution, but even if it is, I'll take that. 6 months pain free (fingers crossed) at least gives my body a chance to rest a little. I'm starting to be less fatigued as well, so things are okay. I still wish I could find a support group in LA, but no luck there...the name I got from the EA apparently was invalid. (Not that you guys aren't a great support group, but I would like some physical presence.) Thank you everyone, and pain free wishes to all. I must say the same thing re Zoladex. Tomorrow is my fourth shot. I have mild pain on my left side (ovarian area) and a bit of lower back pain. But I do not need painkillers up to now. Pain free wishes to all of you girls.
