Abnormal pap showing benign endometrial cellsFrom: Kim (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Jul 11 10:43:42 2000
My last pap test showed abnormal benign endometrial cells. I've just had a biopsy of the uterine lining and one for the cervix. In looking through this website, everyone seems to be in pain and/or to be having heavy bleeding. I'm not having any of these symptoms. I really don't know what the results of the pap test mean in terms of what could be wrong. Is there a list of what this could mean? Could this be just an inflammation or does this mean there's definitely something wrong, that may or may not be cancer? Even though the pap test results said "benign" cells, does this mean there could be cancer there? I'm pretty upset and hyper about this and won't get the results for two weeks. Would greatly appreciate anyone's input on my questions.
