I suffer from intestinal and pelvic adhesions. I had adenomyosis and a TAH recently. I have had 7 abdominal surgeries, most of them for adhesions and their related problems. I have had a bowel resection, acute bowel obstructions and have hemorrhaged (which leads to more adhesions). I have done a lot of researching and have tried to find out as much as I can regarding adhesions. At my insistance my surgeon used Seprafilm, which is an adhesion barrier used during laparotomy. If anyone is suffering from adhesions there is a great website at http://www.adhesions.org or if anyone would like to talk, feel free to contact me.
